Every knee replacement performed in England and Wales is recorded in the National Joint Registry, which reports each surgeon's revision and mortality rates against the range expected for their case mix. Mr Nahas publishes his results here.
National Joint Registry outcomes — 2025/26
Mr Nahas' latest National Joint Registry (NJR) Consultant Level Report, covering his practice to 31 March 2026, demonstrates excellent outcomes across both total and partial knee replacement surgery.
His revision and mortality outcomes are very strong, with performance remaining within the NJR's expected statistical limits and no outlier concerns identified for either revision surgery or 90-day mortality.
He undertakes a substantial volume of knee replacement surgery across both NHS and independent practice, including a significant partial knee replacement practice. His annual partial knee replacement volume is well above the minimum annual volume recommended by the British Association for Surgery of the Knee (BASK).
